- How Can I Join the Sailing Club at UWM?

Membership dues
can be paid either through PAYPAL or by mailing in a check to the addreaa on the form.

During the season membership forms are available at our dock.
New members start with an orientation/rigging class. Besides being introduced indo the basics of a boat,
you will get general information about how the club works,
who we are, whom to
contact for lessons,learn about Club Rules and Procedures and your responsibilities as sailor

- Do I have to be a UWM student to Join SC/UWM?
No. While the majority of our members are students, or have some other affiliation with the University (i.e. alumni, faculty, or staff),
the Club is open to members of the community.
Community members are a valued resource for the Club as they often contribute time, expertise, and continuity beyond that of a changing student
population--some of our best sailors learned to sail with SC/UWM after they reached the age of 50.
- Do I need any experience at all to join SC/UWM?
No. The Club's instructional program is designed to fit the needs of the individual student/member.
- How long does my membership last ?
Each membership is good for a full year from the the date you join. I. e. if you join in August 2002, you are in good standing
until end of July 2003.
- How do I renew my membership ?
Returning members can simply download a membership form from our web page, fill it out and mail it with your check to the address
indicated on the form.
It is not adviced leavingg a membership application
(and check) at the dock, unless you have arranged with a board member (usually the treasurer) to hand it over in person.
If you have trouble downloading and printing the form from the web page you can pick up a membership form at the dock box or
