INSTRUCTION / VOLUNTEER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I understand that my membership fee entitles me to a rigging class, five (5) on-water lessons, unlimited practices and a skipper's test.
Student Explorers are entitled to an introductory sail lesson in order to explore the joy of sailing. Additional lessons are as time allows by the instructor. Explorers are not eligible to take a skipper?s test. Explorers are invited to all social events and "free sail".
Social Members are not entitled to instruction.

I understand that as part of my membership I am expected to contribute at least 20 volunteer hrs per year toward the club. It is my responsibility to notify the Volunteer Chair of the date and volunteer activity for proper record keeping credit.

LIABILITY RELEASE:
I hereby release the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin system and its employees, officers, and the Sailing Club @ UWM, Ltd., which is a separate entity, and its employees, officers, agents, and members from all liabilities whatsoever, whether the liability arises from bodily injury or death to myself or others or damage to property owned by myself or others arising out of my participation in any Sailing Club activity. I also agree to abide by and follow the official Sailing Club rules and regulations and policies and any past or future amendments thereto.

constitutes grounds for suspension or termination of my Club membership.
I also understand that my membership is NON-TRANSFERABLE, and my membership dues are NON-REFUNDABLE.
